Our
second Messy Church Formby was held on Sunday
11th July. We had a Messy Holiday and what a wonderful Messy
Holiday it was! Have a look at the pictures below and you will see
that we did lots of fabulous activities including making water bracelets,
decorating gingerbread men, ball games outside, making postcards and
sand paintings.
After an hour of activities,
we began our time of celebration and worship where we sung and danced
our hearts out. We even had a puppet show! After prayers we finished
our Messy holiday with a delicious picnic tea. Everyone had a terrific
time celebrating and worshipping God in a fun filled way.
This was a really ecumenical venture with the Methodists joining
St Luke’s and Holy Trinity as volunteers. It was lovely to have time
to chat and build relationships again with those returning and to
enjoy meeting the 20 new people we had.
